Maintenance and installation services for thermal insulation
Pumpable Insulation
A unique service!
Heat Service offers a very versatile thermal insulation service.
For some applications, this is practical carry out injections of a fluid with insulating properties until the voids are filled. This technique allows you to reduce the temperature where critical issues arise in an extremely precise and effective

01
Thermogram
The basis of most of our services is always a thermographic analysis. This allows us to identify the presence of hotspots that can be effectively treated with mastic injection.
Thermographic analysis is also used to check the effectiveness of the intervention. Once the water has completely evaporated, one of our thermographic technicians returns to the plant and checks that the temperature near the injection has returned within the compliant limits.
02
Appearance, characteristics and application limits
Our insulating mastic takes on the appearance of a ready-to-use white paste, with a density of 1250 kg/m3 in its wet form, which decreases to 350 kg/m3 once the water contained in it evaporates.
The insulating putty we use is effective and safe to use up to 1050°C.
03
Safety
The insulating mastic we use does not present any critical issues in terms of safety both in terms of the health of the operators and in terms of environmental impact. It is a completely inert substance that does not contain chemical compounds considered dangerous pursuant to EC Regulation n°1907/2006.

Advantages
Injecting mastic into empty volumes is a quick operation compared to installing complex internal insulation systems.
During the entire process, a visual check can also be carried out thanks to special cameras, small enough to be able to enter the holes and give a clear view of what is happening inside.
Due to the nature of the process, injecting mastic does not involve external structural changes, therefore it allows to respect all the original design criteria of the system, while being effective in eliminating hotspots.
